Keypad on drivers door?

Ive just bought 2 98 explorers xlt with these keypads on the drivers door. How can I find out the code to unlock the vehicle? Do I have to contact dealer, can a locksmith do this? Looked all over vehicle doorjambs and glovebox, no books came with either vehicle.

If you don't have the manufacturer system code, which was in the owners manual on a tag, then I think the only alternative is to go to the Ford dealer. maybe someone else has another way around it.
