Kind of confused on OSS sensor location

I'm doing an axle swap on my 2004 Ranger, and while doing research on where the OSS sensor is, all the info that came up was that it was on the tranny/t-case. Can someone help me out and tell me the exact location?

...This is the tail housing...It's a 95GT and if you look at the big hole on this side, it is for the speed sensor...Some of the vehicles use it and some don't...It is important to know if your vehicle does use it before ordering..

Automatic: High on the driver side near the rear of the transmission's main case.

Manual: Driver side of the extension housing, halfway up, just above and slightly forward of the transmission mount.

Both trannies have a 2-wire connector at the OSS. Color codes are grey/red and dark blue/yellow.
