im kinda disappointed, my parents would not allow me to get some 31s for my explorer so i said i will go with 30s and they agreed. we got to the shop and they would not let me get 30s at all. and they even were gettin kinda fussy about it. so now my parents are convinced that 30s will not fit but i know that they will. we are going to a shop on monday to get new tires because i desperately need them right now. this shop will probably put 30s on but i just need to convince my parents. any suggestions out there on how i can convince them? thanks

shiot i know how that goes, my parents were bein gay and told me i couldnt trim the inside of the bumper to put 32's on mine. just tell them that the bigger the tire the wider it gets and the safer it makes it. not really but its worth a try.

Stock tires are 235/75 R15 which equates to about a 29" tire. 30's will fit and won't look any different. They may not even know that one measurement is a metric system. Has nothing to do with quality issues. Just remember they are your parents, and if (don't take this the wrong way) they are contributing in any way (ie - buying the tires, letting you live at home for free - or neary free, or if they own the truck), they do have a say in the matter. If they don't meet any of the three criteria, nicely say it's not their choice, but the advice.concern is appreciated...

I put a set of 31x10.50R15 BFG All Terrain T/A's on my '91 Sport and they fit perfect. There was no rubbing when turning. You should have no problem at all putting 30" under your '92.
