I'm not really "new" here. just haven't posted a lot. Been a member since way back when I had my Ranger.
Anywho... here's my story...well, kinda.
Had a Ranger, generally beat the piss outta it. Did a basic (very) washer lift on the front, gutted cats (love Oregon!), 2.25" exhaust with a turbo muffler, and some other mods that proved to not be worth their time. At that point I started pushing the truck more and more. Not because I wanted to see what it would do, just didn't care if it lived. Then rolled it on it's side crawling down a big ravine. Wheeled it some more, then traded it and $300 cash for my B2.
With the B2 I've been a little more conservative. Been trying to keep it nice. Just did the usual mods (cold-air, 2.5" exhaust with a Flow-Master, CB, stereo, lights, roof rack....)
So far the B2 has been damn good to me. But...I have a 7 month old daughter now and need more room. Now it's up for sale so I can get an Ex.
Y'all will be seeing more of me around here as soon as I get one.
So far, just planning the basics when I get one (need to keep economy, driveabilty, and reliability up!). Just gonna do some F-150 spacers, shackles, and a 1" body lift on 32s, nice exhaust, some bumpers, sliders, stereo, nice big tranny cooler (unless I can find manual), and tinker with it as I go.
Anywho, I've seen the site, and I really like it. Not a lot of people will take an Explorer (or any other RBV for that matter) serious, until they see what can be done to one, and where they'll go for very little money.
Alright, I'm done babbling. Pics will follow as soon as I get an Ex.
