KKM cleaning ?

To clean my KKM filter should I use the S&B filter service pack, or is it ok to use something from any parts store.

I use the K&N kit for mine. It's more available.

You should realize that after cleaning the filter you need to spray the entire filter surface with "Air Filter Oil". An aerosol can of the filter oil is included with the S&B filter cleaning kit. This oil is necessary in order for the filter to work properly after cleaning. It helps the cotton swell and close the pores so that it doesn't allow dirt/grit to bypass it.

Anybody know if the K&N cleaning kits are available at stores where the filters are sold? I need to clean mine but I don't feel like ordering the kit online.

They are usually bu the filters in most auto parts stores.
