KKM Intake on an 03 4.0

Anyone running a KKM Intake on an 03 4.0? Is it worth it on the V6? Is the cabin noise any louder? Any CEL's? Thanks in advance

with the 03 you can run the K&N FIPK 57 series...

yes its more $, but its DYNO proven.

it will make you X sound better, and you can feel the little boost of HP/TQ..

i had not CEL when i installed my Intake...

I'm using it on my 03 4.0L, there is a noticeable hissing sound of air going into it from the outside, can't hear it on the inside. I actually like the sound...

Is it worth it on the V6? Well...I like the V6, so in my opinion...yes, it's a cheap and easy upgrade that does make a difference. No CEL lights. You can see pics of it installed on my Before & After page in my sig.

LOL, the KKM is dyno proven too, I had a dyno pulled on my truck after I installed my KKM, and there was a significant improvement in torque and HP

The K&N is by far a sexier application, don't get me wrong, but it's also twice the price...and believe me, a lot of what you're paying for is the name and advertisement

i absolutey agree with you 100% POTROAST, its mostly NAME BRAND...

i just didnt read any dyno charts on the KKM...

what ever makes someone happy is what they should choose, i just looked into K&N cause i wanted that specific part on my X...

I had a k&n on my old grand prix and I hated it. Besides the dyno can you acctually feel the difference?
