Kkm intake

Hey I was wondering if anyone has the kkm intake on their truck, espically on the 04. It seemed to have mixed reviews about it so I'm kind of on edge about getting one

Worked just as well as any open cone filter would. Louder growl and a little bump in fuel economy. It was fine on my 04 but I also used the outerwear for extra filtration. Never had a problem with water getting in even when driving with water partway up the doors.

Never had a problem in va. It's not hard to swap out for when you get inspected if youare worried about it though.

Any problems with the check engine light coming on?

I never got any CELs or codes from it. Never had any codes at all on that truck except for when I gave E85 fuel a try, but that was with the stock airbox so there's no connection to the intake in that case.
