kkm, to ge tor not to get that is a good question1

My friends are trying to talk me out of getting a kkm intake saying it won't make hardly any difference that you can feel, Well should I get it for my 91 xlt 2dr? I really wouldn't mind a meaner sound, and beter acceleration please help me choose!

just installed K&N Intake...

Hi there,

I just installed a K&N Air Intake in my 97 Explorer Eddie Bauer. Installation took about 30 minutes. The hardest part was to get that damn air box out of its sockets...anyways, after install, there was definitly a difference. Mileage went up as well as HP and torque..I couldnt tell you how much but it definitly did. Also, response time when you hit the gas pedals went to almost zero. And then there is always the sound.... it really really sounds mean now...
