Knew something wasn't right, now CEL confirms.

unplug the number 5 injector and go for a drive. See if it makes any difference. You may have a bad injector. The way to also check is at idle if you unplug the injector and the idle doesnt change the injector isnt working if it changes it is working. Your case may be different though, can you move the injector to another cylinder or just check the resistance on it to see if it is within spec?

Well I am glad to say that I fixed my problem today. I pulled out the #5 plug and it was fine. Replaced the wire for the hell of it and bam. Acceleration is back, power is back, and now I am bangin on all cylinders. Thanks for everyones help. Hopefully this helps someone else out.

glad you posted up this thread... i'm not really having any major issues like yours other than the major drop in mileage, i have new plugs sitting in the garage i think it's time to get them changed. i have an 03 with 70000 on it, and plugs haven't been changed since i've owned it, i bought it with 15000 on it in 05. hopefully this helps!

Don't be surprised if your plugs look like you could put them right back in service. Gaps may be opened up a bit, but I'll bet they look near new otherwise.
