You can just wire the light in parallel with the parking lights. To make it simple, just connect the two wires from the Knight rider light to the two wires feeding one of your parking lights and your done. I would recommend putting a fuse in before the knight rider light.

Alec!!!! HOLY COW BRO!! I just noticed that on your profile it says SUPERCHARGED!!! If you don't mind me asking, what supercharger do you have, and how fast, do you think, is your truck? LIke compariable to other cars.. (like mustangs??)

Carl

it is probably illegal to have them on when your parking lights are on, as the parking lights are on anytime your headlights are.....

i got mine from JCWhitney too...heh alec if ya think way back to june i emailed you about mounting them on a 93' so i did get them on! i wish the 93's had a space in the bumper like the 95+'s do for mounting but ya work with what you got

-bmx how do you have yours all lit up at the same time??

...and the reason i want them wired to the parking lights is not b/c im gonna drive w/ just the parking lights on, but when i remote start my X the parking lights stay on so i want the knight rider light to go on for that

-heres 2 pics of of what mine looks like (theyre bad pics but ya get the idea) sorry bout the big pics.....

oh ok...those arent parking lights they are your auxillary lights.....

no no ignore my fogs i just left them on for the pic....thats not what im wiring the light to..

bmxboy,

When I took my truck to the track, I ran 15.76 @ 87. I've since done some other mods including a lift and tires. Coming soon is a gear swap and possibly water injection. Hopefully I'll be at 15.5 or below. My 0-60 after the gear swap will be in the ballpark of 6.5.

LikuiD - I had them all on becasue i had my digital camera set to a like 1 second exposure.

Alec - THAT IS JUST AMAZING! I LOVE YOUR X!! :) thats really cool bro

hey could you post a pic of your 93 in daylight? I am wanting to put a knight rider light on my 94 an am wondering what it will look like
also what did you mount it to?

matt- here tis a semi good pic...its mounted on the lower half of the grill...

so you just mounted it to the lower grill? is that with 3m tape or something?
i was thinking about between the grill and bumper, but i am now thinking it will not fit

actually i used black zip ties :p you hafta look really hard to even notice them so its not to bad looking...and at night youd never know they were there...and unlike the 95+ models the gap btw the grill and the bumper is too small to mount in....but hey if you find another way to mount it lemme know

ok i sure will. two more questions:
where did you get it and how much did it cost?
Is there a "all lights" on switch and the chaser, ir is it only the chasing light

ok thanx guys...it took about 15 sec to do the actual wiring and looks really nice...especially at night!

matt- i got it from www.jcwhitney.com for about 30bucks....and on the control box theres a knob that contols the speed for chasing...theres no way to put them all on that i know of- lemem know if and when you put yers on-
