are you sure its a knock sensor... i didnt think explorers had those what is the code then maybe other people can tell you the problem if it isnt a knock sensor

So your code is something else. OBD-I and OBD-II codes are not quite the same.

I don't know where I came up with a knock sensor code. I used the test light method so I must have screwed up some where! The code is a 176 left O2 sensor and 172 right O2 sensor. i read the thread about cleaning the MAF sensor and it mentioned it might clear up these codes. Well it cleared up the 172 So it looks like I need a left O2 sensor Thanks Guys
