Know were this flap belongs?

Would anyone be able to tell me exactly where this flap attaches to? It should be near the fuel tank or fuel filter. It was taken off by my mechanic when we replaced the fuel pump but we were delayed a few weeks putting the tank back so the location has escaped us... There are two bolts that hold the filter on but they are closer together than these holes... A picture would be great if possible.
