Let's say I drive my 98 X to your shop. I have the supercharger and want it installed. What will I be charged for this installation? I want it completely installed, running, tuned. Drive out job. I cannot do it myself, so I MUST hire someone to do it.

BTW. Let's say all I have is the Supercharger, no belts or anything. Do you need any more info?

Installation of mine cost about $1000 including fuel pump installation, and me doing much of the work myself. Oh, and that's with a discount.

Most shops still charge by the hour for a project like this. Usually $60-80. Figure installation of a kit usually takes about 10-15 hours, plus they'd have to source parts and do R&D, plus the tuning. For what you're asking, probably around $2000.

charge you by the hour, a lot of shops will not touch it though for liability reasons, most "performance" shops will do it perhaps at a higher price than your standard repair shops

That is exactly what I am afraid of. Since I am no mechanic at all, then keeping it up would be a costly add-on down the road. I guess I should pass on doing a SuperCharger. ;-(
