Hey guys. I plan on taking a road trip this summer. I have a laptop with a DVD player in it. It has a mini-din out-put for speakers or head-phones. Is there anyway to tie that into the Explorers speakers? I have some Kenwood 5-1/4's that I will be running. I am not sure which headunit I will run yet though. I have a few sony's and I can always borrow Maranda's Blaupunk. Anyways anyone know of a way to do this?

Also I have a couple of amps. If I were to wire the speakers to these, that would give me better sound then just wiring to the head unit correct?

Thanks! :D

The only way I know to do it, is to buy a deck with an aux input. I have my PDA hooked up to my stereo like this. :) Also, odds are your amp would do better than your deck. Unless its a really crappy amp and you just bought a really good deck.

The only way I know of is again an aux input. I have a CD player in my X that has that. I have my Walkman connected to it.

What about using one of those tape converter things, you know that people used so that they could use their discman in their cars when they only had a tape deck... I bet that would work, just plug it into the speaker/headphone port on the laptop...

Hmm Bummer... I have thought about the tape converter thing and it does work, however I will be putting a CD-Player in because I need some CD's too...

Well that's okay, I will just run some computer speakers in the cab. Or maybe just few headphones for all the girls...

The amp is a good one, I just have never put it in never had a good place to mount it in the 2-door.

tape adapters suck. I like those Radio hook ups that broadcast to a radio station better. :)
