Sounds good for me but i will have to double check when graduation for me is. I think its around the end of may. Dont count me yet I will double check and get back.
Ok, this is being planned too close to Moab. The Moab Poll is leaning towards May 21 -23.
If I had to choose between Hot Springs or Moab. I would probably choose Moab.
But, who knows what I'll be able to do by the time May rolls around. I don't know if I'll still be living in Houston or not. My boss wants me to move to Boston. yada yada yada...
I spent Saturday replacing the carrier in the rearend and the Bionic Marshallow is on the road again!
The dates toward the end of May of later are best for me. As someone said there is a lot going on in Memphis the first 2 weekends (Memphis in May). Plus I'll be opening up a new 200 room addition at work (Marriott Downtown) at that time. I'll need some BIG R&R after that.
we need to go ahead and set a date. if im gonna be working, i need to know ahead of time so i can put in for vacation. in the mean time, sureshot40sw and i need to get to work on my rig.
Actually, it looks as if I am out on this run. I was reading their requirements and they state:
14. All SUVs must have a valid vehicle registration, inspection (if required by their state of origin), license plates and the minimum limits.
My trail explorer is just that, so its not registered or inspected. So I am out on this run.
Here is a letter that I sent to the park
My name is Brian Green. I am writing you concerning #14 on your rules and regulations. This rule states that the vehicle must have all registration and inspection stickers in place in order to run the trail at Superlift Park. My problem is this, I trailer my vehicle all over the United States, therefore it is not inspected nor registered. I have a large group of Ford Explorers www.explorer4x4.com planning a run to your park on May 22nd and 23rd. I need to know if this rule is still in place as it looks like there are plenty of rigs in your photo gallery that dont have the required window stickers. Please let me know. Thanks so much for your time.
i am 99.99% sure no one obeys that rule. i know for a fact a guy that lives there and runs a gas station only a few miles from the highline entrance. he has an FJ-40 buggy that i promise is not liscenced in any way. i also see alot of other rigs go up there that are trailer only. i honestly wouldnt worry about it.
