2002 Explorer XLT 4.0L V6
I am finding a lot of different part numbers on the web and my dealer is no help. The pics on the web seem to be stock photos (with a disclaimer that actual product may vary) so I don't want to order and end up with the wrong part. I know this problem has been solved before but for the V8. I have a V6. I also don't want to use a coolant or heater hose for the reasons mentioned on this forum. Does someone have the part number, where you got it from? Any "safe" alternatives?

I have a 2002 Ford Explorer XLT 4.0 V6 Regular fuel SOHC (55xxxxW trans).

Thanks.

So far, the 129 and 190 both seem to fit my truck according to Amazon. Both have generic photos so I can't confirm for sure.
KCV-129 (My vehicle profile is correct, i.e. it knows I have a V6 but I think this hose if for a V8 where the valve is located in a different place so think the site might be wrong?)

KCV-190 - fits (one of the reviews from a buyer states it works on the 4.0 V6 but for a 2003 model. I know there was a change in the PCV valve from 02 to 03 but the location is the same so I hope the hose fits and the one I am going to order. Hope it's the right one.

KCV-140 - does not fit
KCV-240 - does not fit
etc.

this is Ford's online parts catalog that has pictures prices and base part numbers. Just put in year and model or just put the vin number in.

Thanks 05, under my VIN, three parts show up. I was hoping it would be able to filter it down to what I need but it doesn't. FWIW, my PCV valve is not heated nor it has an electrical connector. Does it help you narror it further for me? Also, did people actually pay anywhere from $40 to $50 for this hose? Are there cheaper alternatives that work as well? Thx.

I believe you have 3 of them on that truck and yes depending on which one it could that pricey.
