Hey everyone,

I am interested if anyone here is from minnesota who knows what the laws are on exterior and interior lighting?

I just bought a set of Indiglow Neon Pedals (gas/break) and I have some other neon lights I want to put in the interior? Is it legal to have them inside the truck? Is it okay to have them anywhere or does it have to be so you may be able to see the light but not the bulb itself (indirect). Any color requirements for the inside as well?

As for the outside same thing, what sort of requirements are there, are the like green or red License plate neons leagle?

Any help would be wonderful.

Matt

as with most local govts probably not.... only certain exempt vehicles are allowed to have red or blue on thwe outside... check with your local dmnv or the state hiway patrol

Matt,

I talked to a MN Highway Patrol Officer and he says "red on the rear" lights are legal, but BLUE isn't....

No Red lights facing front.

Hope this helps.

Jim

Sweet,

So by what he told you its legal to have a red license plate neon frame thing on the rear correct?

Anyone know anything about interior stuff?

Thanks
Matt
