All right, I'm wanting to put a screen in each visor here pretty soon. I've got about $900 to spend at the moment (not that I'm wanting to spend all of that on two screens). But, I really don't know a lot about these things. Can anyone help me out with some honest opinions on what screen has good quality for the money??

2 options, in dash with the moterized screen 400+ or you can get seperate screens to put in visors, headrests, etc. These usually run form 100+ each. You then would need your video source (PS2, DVD player, VCR) to take the image from then to the screen. You also need a Head Unit with an AUX input to transfer the sounds to the speakers.

I would take the seperate screens for you can put them anywere and their pretty cheap. The moterized screen is pretty cool, but decent ones, with the built in DVD players can run from 700+...

That's what I'm wanting to do: put screens in the visors. I've got everything taken care of for the hookups. I just need to know a good make of these things. I don't mind spending the money as long as I am getting what I paid for. I don't want to get stuck with cheap screens and low quality. So with that, anyone recommend specific models/brands?

you cant go wrong with /////-\lpine (Alpine)

I've got an in dash 6.5 in Alpine CVA-1003 for sale if you're interested.

how much for the cva-1003?

LISTEN TO THIS

Well, if you havent bought anything, ill tell you what i am about to get.. I am wanting to do the same thing, put a screen in my VISOR, and then 2 in the back headrest, im going to start witht hte passenger side visor tho..

That said, the equip im going to use is this...

THE SONY XVM-H65, this model is BRAND NEW for 2003, comes out this month, the reason i want this model is of its GREAT LOOK, and great options, this can be connected to the SONY MV-101 model DVD player, this is another item that is brand new for MAY 2003..

i will use that screen for all the tvs in the car, unless i put a flip down on the roof,

Reason i am purchasing these models, is because that h65 has a direct cable hookup to the dvd player mv101, which mean crystal clear video, AND!!! the h65 has a power supply for a playstation 2!!!! so, i am putting my ps2 and the dvd player in my Sport Trac....

ITS SONY, ITS GOTTA COST AN ARM AND A LEG!!!!

NOPE!!, i found super great deals on this equip, I LOVE THE INTERNET... sounddomain.com i have pre-ordered this equippment. the screen about 350 and the dvd player will prob be a little under 200...

i hope this helps you out, i am excited about getting all my equipment, its the newest out there, and it will mos def make ur car stand out... I have a white sprot trac, and all the equip is white, so i think it will look very good...

the only way you will be happy with your new lcd is to go to the store and see it in action before you buy.

I have heard good things about the Parts Express monitors, although I have not seen one in person. Can't beat that price though.
