On my front passenger side wheel, I have a dark black/brown streak of a fluid stain on my wheel. I dont think Ive ever noticed a similar leak before. Im used to the brownish red stuff that builds up over time, but this is new. Its also coming from the center cap on the wheel. By the looks of it... its something that just leaked once, as its just in one spot. What is this?

It sounds to me like your front hubs are leaking grease.

Thats bad right?

Does that mean I need to replace my hubs?

I'd check the grease and see if hasen't started to break down and become liquid. While you have the wheel off check the o-ring on the hub to see if it is still intact. At the least you might consider repacking the wheel bearings.

Haha.. no jack. Ill have to take it in somewhere. I bought one awhile back.. then didnt use it, so I returned it. Anyways... so you think its something I could have repaired then? I was just afraid it was my hub, and I would need a new one.
