As of Wednesday night when I got off shift I had the engine light come on, rode it home and to & from work tonight, after I got home I put more antifreeze in the reserve. I took a glance over by where my light was shining and noticed a puddle of antifreeze on the lower intake manifold where the passenger's side front injector is. Is it possible that the upper hose may he failing or have either a head or intake gasket failed? Also I have been noticing a hesitant start when its cold, I do realize it can be a weak battery but this started right around the time the engine light came on. Any help is greatly appreciated

I'd say head gasket or cracked head judging by the starting problem. Does it use alot of anti-freeze?

It was using a decent amount of antifreeze, I was going thru complete spark plug changes like crazy because the shop I was going to was mis diagnosing my problem, I found out from a friend of mine that the 4.0 v6 does go thru head gaskets and the shop was saying it was "water in the gas" but it only came up for 1 on occasion 2 cylinders, its been running good for a while now and all of a sudden it wants to act up or whatever may be going on is catching up with it

sorry to say but I'd say it's time to tear the head off if you want the problem fixed. :(

I was somewhat under that impression but I wasn't 100% sure that was it but I guess it is what I thought it was and now I have to figure out what to do with it
