I have a problem with my antifreeze. When i went to get my x inspected at the end of may, the mechanic said i was leaking antifreeze from the front and he believes its the timing cover. I already had my share of antifreeze leaks when i had to get 2 remanufactured heads cus the originals had cracks. That ran me bout $600 my own money cus warranty only covered 1/3. but that was in september 05. Now this mechanic says there is another one. I said ur crazy, he said hes serious. So then he told me the bill would run me bout $1050 cus hes gotta pull the engine. Does anyone else think thats a little big of a bill for sum antifreeze. ny comments would be nice. :thumbdwn:

the timing chain is on the rear of our engines. And the only thing that would leak from the timing cover would be oil - NOT antifreeze. Take it somewhere else fast
