Learned something new

I was in My X today with some buddies from work and was asked if the steering wheel moves towards or away from the driver like in his Tahoe.(trying to put the X down). I tried it and sure enough it worked! Im 6'4" and it sure is nice to pull the steering wheel closer to me so that I have enough leg room but doesn't feel like im reaching for the stars trying to drive.

I knew that, but my wife doesn't. I'm hoping it stays that way so that it will always be just where I want it!

As the kiddies would say, OMFG!

I went back and re-read the online materials.

Package 200A included as standard includes:

"-Manual tilt/telescoping steering column"

I hadn't really focused on the stock package, just the add-ons.

My '02 just tilts. I didn't even think to pull the wheel closer to me.

For the last two weeks I have been saying to myself "now, the driving position would be just fine if I could only get the steering wheel closer by an inch or two".
