Learning about my 07 Sport Trac.

Hi, I am new (6 month) owner of an 07 Sport Trac. I love this truck! I am trying to rev it up a bit, and I would like to find chrome or LED tail lights for it. Any ideas?

dont think anybody makes them but could only suggest maybe a chrome trim for the tail lights.

You could just replace the bulbs instead of the whole lens. I've moved your thread to the Sport Trac section.

NOBODY makes LED or any other tails for the 07-up Trac. I have been looking for almost two years. :thumbdwn: And you can't replace the bulbs with LED's, I tried. They run at such a low wattage it confuses the message center into thinking the bulbs are blown, driving you nuts with messages and beeping! And these were the high output bulbs!

You could go with the option I and others did... VHT niteshades tint spray.

But you can get an LED 3rd brake light. I got one off Ebay. Look for 04-08 F150, as they use the same lens.

Either make them yourself, or pay the price for a one off part.

As for the exterior (( third brake light)). Is it brighter than stock?
The one reason I never switched is my stocker is very bright, and I like it when I need it.

no, only 07-up Sport Trac and 04-08 F150.
02-up Explorer uses a different (smaller) lens

Yes, way brighter than stock. This one will make you see stars if you are standing at the end of the bed! And the clear LED's on the ends (cargo lights) light up the bed better too.
