i recently finished installing interior dome light LEDs.... the rear one is a small 3156 backup bulb with about 10 LEDs on it... i broke it open and used the positive and negative to light it up... the front dome light is a small perfboard with 2 1100mcd LEDs on it... puts out as much, if not more, light than the rear... i got them from radioshack for about 14 bux for 2 white LEDs, 5 100 amp resistors, and one small perfboard or "computer" board... lots of light output, little heat, less voltage, and clear white light makes this have a customized look

Nice job! Why do you need 5 100 ohm resistors to limit current on 2 LED's? How many watts are those LED's rated at? Are they regular LED's, or the Luxeon type?

well i didnt need 5, they didnt sell them individually so i had to get a pack of 5... only 99 cents though... i was totalling up what i had bought for 14 bux.. i only needed two to equal out the ohms of the bulbs... it uses 3.25 volts ...and those r regular white LEDs, nothing special
