I just put on new clear corners on my 94. I'm using amber led's for the corner lights and the flashers. When I turn on the lights everything works. But when I turn the left or right flasher on it doesn't blink. It just turns on. And then when I turn on the emergency lights, they flash! What the heck!!!!! I'm driving around during the flasher by hand, turing it on and off. Why don't the flashers work? I think that it might be that the flasher fuse can't handle the power that the led's use. Thank you for the help.

Your problem is probably due to the fact that LEDs draw such little current (milliamps) that it isn't enough to operate the thermal flasher. The average turn signal bulb draws about 2.1 amps when operating. You may need to install an inline load (bulb) somewhere.

how would i do that?

this is very easy to fix.
follow these steps, and you'll fix it.

1. go to autozone
2. go to the fuse section
3. find a ELECTRONIC VARIABLE LOAD FLASHER. You might want to take your old one out of the fuse box that is inside the truck, on driver side. Its a large round silver fuse.
4. Buy the fuse, it'll be a 2 prong fuse, its clear black in color. and total cost comes to like 7 bucks.
5. install the new fuse...
6. works like new, *AND even sounds newer*

very very very simply to fix
