No what I mean the headlight flasher for a wig wah feature for an emergency vehicle
 






Thanks for this thread lil98, new member here, bought an '07 in june and put some LED's in the rear and have been wondering how to get rid of the hyper-flash as well and now I see it's not possible w/o resistors unless something new has came up since this thread?

There is nothing new other than modifying the SJB for it's current (amps) setting for a failed bulb. This can be changed in the Electronics by changing resistors. I have not done it - need a spare SJB to see how it works and change components.
(have done it on VW - it was a lot more accessible) The flasher change mentioned above only affects the hazard circuit, and that is why swapping it will not fix any issues.

Looks like I'll be going back to to the regular old bulbs then, the hyperflash is getting annoying along with the dash messages! Thanks!
