I've been running interior LED's for years now, with only the need to change one bulb in 3 cars. I never did the turn signals or tail lights because I didn't want to hack up a beautiful harness, but I threw in the towel and said I might as well. These are photos of what has been done interior and exterior. I also have our 194/921 HID reverse Light Kit installed in my truck.

Pretty cool. How much did all this cost you?

The 3157's cost about $19 each from superbrightleds.com, everything else is stuff we sell at the shop where I work. Dynamic Sound.

The interior Domes are $10 each, the 5 watts cree 194's/921's are $15 each, the 194 HP's are $7.50 each, the Ford Cree for the door is $40 for the kit (has two ghost lights included along with the necessary drill bit), and the reverse HID's we sell for $40 for the kit

Do you have a link to the Ford ghost lights? Those are impressive

Thanks man. I like the lights and want to switch over to LEDs pretty soon too.

Did you swap the puddle lights in the mirrors with those ghost lights, or did you put them in the door? Think there would be enough room in the mirror housing?

If you get an LED flasher relay then you don't need to use resistors. If you don't install a flasher relay, then you will need to put a resistor in series with each flashing bulb.

They go in the bottom of the door panel to achieve the look he has. I have them as well, but skimped and bought the cheap-o $11 kit on eBay and one died an hour after installation.

If you mounted them in the puddle lamp location, the image would be blown up and very very dim, if at all noticeable.

How do you like those reverse light HIDs? How is the startup time on them? (Ive had HIDs before that sometimes take 5-6 seconds to warm up to full brightness)

What flasher relay do I need for an 08 Sport Trac 4x4 V8?

flasher dont work

I just took first step in switching to led, I got some projector headlights with LED turn signals. I installed just the drivers side and did a systems check. all lights work individually, but when I turn on headlights the turn signals stay on and don't flash. is this do to the fact I only installed the one...or do I need to get the LED flasher? I'm not having the hyper flash or warning issue...they just stay on and don't flash
