hey guys i just tore my apart to see what lights up the keys and there are already led in there mine wasn`t working because the big green connector was unplugged in the door, i just ripped out my aftermarket car alram/remote start it was on there when i bought it a year ago and it was a pain in the ass i think who ever installed the alarm disconnetced the key pad but my works fine now but there is no bulbs in it to be replaced and the leds in it now are very small so thats the up date on the keypad. so the whole thing would have to be replaced to fix it.

Thanks tl1000r...This is the first time in... well, ever that I know of, that the keypad issue has been looked into.
Have heard rumers that lights were not replaceable. Now we know.

The earlier model keypads are diffrent. When I tore apart my 95, the key pad had fiber-optics. It was a blueis green strip with what looked like many fishing lines running to a metal sleeve with one small light (non-led). I destroyed it taking it apart, but I had to see why the damn light never worked.

thanks guys yeah there are led for each key i wish i had taken a picture of it .
