Left blinker intermittently stopped working yesterday. Using the turn signal stalk and the hazards, same thing, right blinker is normal, left does nothing.

Does this point to a faulty multifunction switch?

Thanks all...98 XLT 4-door. About to drive to Oregon (from NC) and would like to have this squared away before the trip.

have you replaced the bulb? that would be the place to start.

Front and rear bulbs don't blink and neither does the dashboard indicator.

Thanks for the links. That was the problem.

It turns out I had "fixed" this issue about a year ago when I first got the truck, but the glue had come loose. Hot melt wasn't strong enough. This time I used instant epoxy.

Is there any real fix for this? It seems like the wires are too short, when the tilt wheel is put in the down position, the wires are pulled out of the connector.
