My 98 Limited is experiencing electrical problems on the driver door. Neither the courtesy lamp underneath the door mirror or the illumination lamps on the interior control buttons will work. Anyone have any ideas where to look for cause? All fuses appear good.

I've got the same problem, so Im interested in hearing people's opionon/solutions.

Bump. Nobody else out there had this problem?

I have a similar problem as well.

Most likely a "common" broken wire in the door column / post. Its a common problem (door controls problems) as the wiring fatigues from opening / closing the driver's door which gets used the most. Only have 96 drawings but the lights for the window controls come from a R/BK power wire.

Thanks, Budwich. I'm still having the same problem, so the wire problem is likley the culprit. Looks like a good project for this weekend.
