I've got 2 question. I've got a 96 plain jane explorer. 4.0 liter automatic. 4x4. This truck started out as a rental for hertz. M bosses wife drove it for 2 yrs. I've had it since them.
The problems are The LH speaker never worked. Can't find the Amp? All other speakers work. If Not Amp Any Ideas?
The Other is intermittent LH window operation. Open the door and the windows won't work. Close the door and all the works work off driver control. The other never work at all. I think the problem might be in the door connector. Looks like a beast to take apart.
All ideas and help appreciated

not sure on the door and window thing but your speaker could be as simple as a loose wire. Pop the door panel off and check it out.

Welcome to this forum! I've moved your thread to the stock 95-01 section. The problem with the door sounds like the wiring between the door, and the body of the vehicle. The wires are always being flexed, and they eventually break.

Yeah bending like 100,000 plus times, those wires wear out...had to replace two for the master switch in the driver side...never had speaker issues though

I am having the same issue so I took the plug that connects the door to the wiring harness and unplugged it and noticed that a few of the pins had some what looked like burned connections. My question to everyone is does anyone have a pin out of the connector? So I can see it the ones that are burned out are the speaker wire or not
