long story short, I am going to use the frame and driveline from a 96 4-door , 2wd explorer under a 48 ford coupe super deluxe body. I need to make the wheelbase 2 inches longer. I take it it is easier to do in the rear and thats where I plan to modifiy it. Have any of you guys done something like this and what is the easiest way to accomplish it?
I Figured I would move the contact points on the frame back 2 inches, but have read about reversing the springs done on other trucks and figured someone on the explorer board must have done something like this before who I can learn from.
