Took delivfery of 2 new bridgestones about 10 days ago, (£82 for the pair, brand new ebay bargain) and got them fitted today about an hour b4 the snow started.
Talk about good timing.
Also last week i fitted a new sway bar link after i found one broken and what a difference, makes me wonder how long it had been broken. I have another new one to do the other side but haven't done it yet due to limited time and i don't like the cooooold :D

I also managed to knock off one of the rear demister connections from the glass but i have managed to pick up some conductive silvering glue to fix it, again not done it yet as its tooooo cooooold

JUst been out in the snow we have in Buckinghamshire (about 4 inches) and found a few hills to climb - Explorer performed brilliantly, even passd a Range Rover Sport that was sat at the bottom of a steep hill considering his options lol.

Darren.

i also went out in the white stuff last night explorer was brill, been waiting for this lol.

i did 8 hrs of driving in the snow, from when it started in luton into southend sea. was amazing how many people got stuck, also m25 was gridlocked past junc25 so had to make a large detour around stevenage as evrywhere else was gridlocked

Must admit have been a tad naughty in the snow as I've been in 4x4 'High' and given the Ex. a bit of welly and felt the back end kick out ;o)

Loving it ATM otherwise, but please folks, DRIVE SAFE!

Oh and every one should be carrying some tow straps/ropes to help out all the stuck bmws and other low profile tyred cars that struggle up the slightest incline
