Hello to the forum . Found you guys surfing and looking for help for my explorer.
I have read thru some posts and this site is cool and there seems to be a wealth of info.
But havent found it so far.
Maybe some one has an answer . I have 2000 Explorer Eddie Bauer edition
I bought a trailer hitch from uhaul that doesnt fit 78166 I asked guy there about the 16in tire and he says computer doesnt say anything and it should fit. Well you cant even get it close to frame because of tire.
They have a cheaper version listed but who knows if that fits . They would have to order that one anyhow.
Before I get too far Iam not even going to tow with it . I want one for a bike rack . So trying to keep cost down. Does anybody know if uhaul has one that fits or do they have to special order another . I know there hitches are made by a few major hitch manufacturers .
