hello, i need to know what the name of the metel part in between the front bumper and the grille on a 1991 xlt. its a slim metel peice that bolts to each fender front and the center of the rad support. what does ford call this thing?

i think i've heard it called a "rock guard" before.

ah, just looked it up. I was close, it is actually called a "stone deflector"

That would help... if it was technically called a 'rock guard' and not a 'stone deflector' as noted by devilboy right above you.

How do you suggest to the man how to do a search for a dang part he didn't even know the name for? Not jumping on ya, but requesting him to do a search for that was out of line, IMHO...
