Let's talk exhaust please

Last year I had a Flowmaster exhaust put on my X. Now I was happy for awhile but now i notice it's not as "Aggressive" as i want it. So pretty much what I'm asking is what exhaust is loud like say a v8's and will also give me some HP?

What model Flowmaster muffler did you get and what size is the tailpipe?

hey threw on whatever... he never told me and the pipe is the standard size

A Flowmaster 40 with a 2.5" tailpipe is probably the loudest you'll get with a muffler.

well, i dunno about gettin it to sound like a V8, that is what i have, and i got a Dual-Chamber Flow dumped before the axle, sounds great...no complaints...especially because i have been running around with no cat-back for about a month and a half....it was cool at first, but damn, that sucked after about a week...

oh yea, and i have 3" piping...
