1998 Ford Explorer XLT
I am wondering what's the best and cheapest leveling kit for front of my 1998 Ford Explorer XLT? I have seen a couple of them but I do not know what is the best one to get. I am planning on getting AAL soon, and would like to level up my front end to match with the rear end. I do not want to do torrison twist, as I heard that it is not recommended and will mess up the ride.

You can get torsion keys but does the same thing as cranking the bars and will also effect your ride quality. If you want your front to match the rear you might as well save some money and just crank your bars. P.S. pretty much anything after market we do to our trucks FORD would tell you its not recommended just like the add-a-leaf.

Well, a buddy of mine told me its better to get torsion keys instead of torrison twist. I found two brands and I wanted y'alls opinion on it. I found tuff country and readylift. I've heard that they're both good. I know that readylift is forged and will not break but i dont know if tuff countrys torrison key is forged or not?
 






Not sure about readylift but Tuff Country is reputable for building lift kits.
 


















Torsion twist or torsion keys, when it's all said and done, lift the front end the same way, by increasing the tension on the bars to generate lift. Both will make your ride stiffer.

The only difference is a torsion twist is free and torsion keys are $120
