Come join us in Eastern Washington (where it's acutally warm!) the weekend of July 11-14 for camping and wheeling.

Liberty is just off SR-97, about 15 miles from Cle Elum. We'll be camping at the Williams Creek camp area http://www.fs.fed.us/r6/wenatchee/cle-elum-orv/liberty-campground.html

The trails around the area are rated 'moderate' although 2 years ago we brought a couple stock (well slightly lifted) X's through with no damage (other than tree scratches) http://www.explorerforum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=160696&highlight=cle+elum

There some trails that we did not explore that are rated tougher and I expect we'll try them too. Map of the area are here; http://www.fs.fed.us/r6/wenatchee/cle-elum-orv/maps/map-east-3.pdf

The views are spectacular, the weather should be wonderful and the company is always interesting. http://www.explorerforum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=209188&highlight=tahuya

So far we have;
Me
Diff Whack Daddy
Paul
Arsoul
85bronco2man
Flexy
Sl1ckben
Papa Sowell
Snowexploder

Maybe;
JRGaylor
AWDios Tacoma club cab
n16ht5 '94 4Runner

The F-350 has an issue right now, rough idle at start up and a CEL, but don't fret, it will be ready to tow the Ex out. Already making plans to get it in to the shop to get the CEL code read. My OBD II code reader doesn,t find all the diesel codes unless they are hard faults, and since this is an intermittent one, it won,t show it.

I really want to go but more than likely I won't be there. I would only be able to go for the 13-14, so I don't think that it would be worth it for me. But I may change my mind later.

We went over this at Tahuya, oh wait, that was after your 3rd beer, I can understand why you don't remember:rolleyes:

It was dark and I think they were more concerned with getting the Explorer lifted enough off of me so I could get out. I didn't have a camera with me, but there was someone taking pics of the recovery. I never saw them though.

thats what i would love to see is picts of the recovery lol i can understand none that night

I'll also be coming up late friday...kevin, maybe we can roll out over I-90 together. dad might be bringing his newly built 78 J-20 1ton Jeep.

Oh cool, a heep to pick on :D

What time are you looking at rolling out Friday afternoon? I am going to try and get out of downtown Seattle at about 4pm or so. Right at about 100 miles it should be a 2 to 3 hour drive with the traffic. We should still be able to set up camp in the day light.

so i got everything except my intake and rear gears done getting close started it up today it fired up right away hell yeahhhhh

hey kev if you dont mind can i join your caravan lol

Well I'm pretty darn sure we are coming. :thumbsup:
I told (my)Ryan that I really wanted to go and since his rig still isn't done, there's not reason for us not to go. :D

So are people planning on staying till monday the 14th? I'm thinking we will have to leave on the 13th, as we are leaving for W.E. Rock in N.Cali that thursday and I can't take off that much work...:thumbdwn:

Cool

:thumbsup:There's a baby rock garden near the camp area, the rest will be pretty tame, a little trickier than Tahuya but certainly not difficult by any means.

I would like to leave on Friday afternoon. We should just drive over at the same time since you live like 700feet from me.
And I'm bringing (my)Ryan so why shouldn't you bring your gf.... Unless she complains the whole time, is anti-social and tries to make you leave early, in that case leave her behind.
