I have a '92 eddie bauer and i am wanting to raise it up a little bit and put some 30 x 9.50 tires on it. I dont have any money right now im going to have to save up and use chirstmas $$ to do this considering im only 16 years old. I need suggestions on lifting options and tire options and prices if you can. Thanks

Welcome!!:D

You won't need any lift at all to fit the 30x9.5s, but if you want some lift and a more aggressive look, I would go with about 1.5" of lift and some 31x10.5s. You can accomplish the 1.5" up front by the use of 2WD F150 coil spacers (actually, lower coil seats). The rear can be lift via use of add a leafs or extended leaf shackles (Warrior model WAR153). I tend to advise using the add a leafs over the shackles. For any more specific information on any of these items, the "Search" feature here will give you a lot of info.

Pricing: Coil spacers will run you about $20-$25 from the dealer. Add a leafs will run you about $30-$35 from various online sources. After the installation of basically any type of suspension lift, you will need to have the front end of the truck alligned, so add this to the cost.

If you do any kind of lift, the 30x9.5s will look small. I would definately get some 31x10.5s instead. They will fit perfectly on your stock rims and make the rig look much better.

Good Luck and please ask about any more questions you have after running a Search.

Thanks for all your help!!

Can you give me a rough estimate for all the lift parts and installation combined?? It would help if i had an actual figure so i can see how long it wil take me to get enough money. I already know the tires are going to be around $550.
