Woooohoooooo. Lift done and power steering leak fixed. The seal on the output shaft of the steering gear was definatley damaged, but so was the edge of the housing. According to a mechanic, he said the steering gear did not have to be removed but since the edge of the husing was slightly tweaked the seal didn't come out on it's own. I ended up removing the whole gear which turned out to be easier than I thought, stuck it in a vice, removed the two bolts holding the sector shaft, and used my finger to pull the seal. Using the correct size socket I tapped in the new seal and dust cover. The other problem I found was that the pitman arm puller that I rented from the auto parts store was too small for the superlift dropped pitman arm. Once completed I reinstalled the steering gear, hooked everything back up, and what do you know, leak fixed. The job took 3 hours but would have been less if I started by removing the steering gear.
