Hi all,

I've noticed that my lift gate on my 98 EB is becoming harder to open and especialy harder to close. Is there an adjustment that can be made or should the shock things be replaced? The gate has no problems staying open.

Thanks,
Doug

Lubricate the shock pistons. Also do the ones on the windows while you're at it...

CHH77,

I didn't even think about that. Whats your suggestion WD40 or something else?

Thanks!

wd40 is also a solvent/lube...it is good for cleaning things...like stickers off of bumpers and things...but isnt that good as a lube....use some type of spray lube that has teflon in it. teflon is a good friction reducer

lol i was thinking about WD40 for a few seconds, i love the smell of that stuff, it smells great
