Lift help??

Im looking at lifting my 2000 4door explorer...something affordable like a body lift but idk what all is involved with a lift like that, then torsion keys and shackles but they say the front axels will get in a bind and I don't know what to do about that. just need some advise thanks

You can do the shackles and TT just dont go more than 2" on the TT so you don't mess with the CVs

TT is that with keys or using stock keys

How do I know if im two inches or not.. What is factory?

Take measurements before and after you do it and Two full rotations on the the bolts is 2" so to be even safer do a 1.75"

yea i have done the TT upfront, and then in the back i added the warrior 153 shackles, and an AAL. I am also going to put some monroe sensatracs in the back to get another 1-1.5 inchs. and then upfront new rancho rs5000 should get you about another inch. so you can get about 3" up front and about 3" in the back this way. plus a body lift isnt horrible to do as long as the bolts all come out. u can buy a kit for like $150? and u have to buy the ranger kit because as far as i remember there is not one for the ex/ mounty. just dont go over 2 inchs with the body so you dont have to replace brake lines and stuff

let us know when you put those shocks on with TT and AAL/shackles. I have the same setup as you except i ended up getting a brand new hd leaf spring pack. I am evenly 2" front and back right now. I was thinking those monroes would lift the back up higher than the front with the rancho rs5000 shocks built for lift so i was just going to do rancho front and back in the spring

yea it will be a while probably march till i get the money. but i havent decided on front shocks yet but it will all be posted in my thread but if i member i get it here too
