Use warrior shackles, and adjust torsion bars, this is discussed several places on board. U cant get 3in out of the front for cheap but 1-2, otherwise do a body lift.

also you cant use blocks to lift the back because explorers have the leaf springs under the axle so by adding blocks you lower an explorer. if you put the leafs over the axle it lifts it 5.5 inches. so if i wereyou i would do the 2 inch torsion twist and warrior shackles. then if you wanted more lift do a 3 inch body lift and then you will have 5 inches of lift. good luck!!!

EDIT: ^^^ They typed faster than me..

With IFS, your only cheap way to lift the front is with the torsion twist (threads all over this site)... That will get you up to 2" (I'm assuming 4x4).

For the rears, you cannot install those blocks you have. The explorer is a spring under vehicle meaning the spring is under the axle. Your thinking of a spring over (like the ranger) where you can put a block between the axle the the spring.

For the rear, Warrior 153 (war-153) shackles, as mentioned will give you about 1.5" of lift. You can then either go with Add a leaves or get a new spring pack. The aal will stiffen up the rear a little which can be good if the rear has sagged from the years of use.

Also, your rear axle is spring under axle, so a 3 inch block will actually lower the truck 3 inches...
