lift kit help PLEASE

Hi everyone,

Im new to this great and informative site that has answered numerous already for me. But the one question that I have yet to be answered is a good tough and reliable lift kit for my 91 xlt 2wd explorer. I've checked numerous web sites and found some lift kits but none of them seem to offer new radius arms. Im looking forward to building my explorer into a fun jumping off-road adventure vehicle for myself and children to enjoy here in Prescott Valley Arizona. Is it possible to use a Ranger lift from the same year as they are the same frames and underpinnings? Im looking for a kit that will take some abuse. Im also planning on doing a spring over axle in the rear. Can anybody help with kits that are available? What are some of your suggestions for shocks and tires? Sitting here with money to spend and tools in hand ready to go.

i have the same problem and im wandering if ranger parts would work, because i had a ranger and my brother had an ex and the wheel base is the same and so are the frames . so maybe they will work just look at the wieght tho ex's weight more than a ranger by alot. but if u find any thing out let me know :exp:

how much lift you need ?
