I was just wondering if anyone has heard or seen the explorer twin by Mazda. I was wondering if Mazda makes a lift kit for it and would it fit my explorer? My luck they are probably made by the same company then they just add Ford or Mazda afterwards. they really look alike on the underside.

The Navajo and the Explorer are the same beast. They are made side by side and share most components drivetrain related. The unfortunate problem with the '95-'9? Explorer/ Navajo is that the rear torsion bar mount is welded to the frame. Due to this there is no aftermarket lift-kit available. In order to lift the front you need to lower the suspension mounting points, this is necessary in order to keep the proper suspension geometry. It is possible to lift your Navajo by having the Torsion bars tightened. This has been done successfuly by for years, but your truck will ride rougher and you will loose suspension down travel on the front end. The max you can lift using this method is 2". If you just want the look of a taller truck with slightly larger tires I would recomend a body lift. DO NOT exceed 3" and I don't recomend anything taller than 2". Sorry I wasn't of much help.
