:exporange Hi all
New to this stuff but not new to Fords. i come from a Stang Gang. i know what stangs need and like but when it came to my wifes X and my Monty i wasnt sure what i wanted to do. i do know that i want to throw rims on both of them and have a monor lift 2" or so. nothing outrageous. Keep on searching on the net for a Lift Kit for 95-01 and cant find anything at all. Everything seems to be made for Rangers. So, decided to turn to you guys, since im sure someone out here has a Lift kit installed. All help is greatly appreaciated.:exporange

1.There is no 2" lift kit made for the x or mounty!
2. 98-01 rangers and X's are basicly the same

makers of lift kits for you x or mounty(ranger kit)

superlift 4" $$
trailmaster 4" $$$
RCD 5.5" $$$$
dixon bros long travel $$$$$$

if you want 2"s of lift most guys do a torsion twist and warrior shackles

edit:98-01 rangers

Didn't the ranger go to t bars in 98 and not 95 like the Ex? Both your trucks would use the same lift. A torsion twist and shackles will get you 2 inches for under 150.

Auto Zone Shackles = $12.00
TT = FREE

NYC Area

How about if there is anyone in NYC area that can do it for a price? im too afraid of touching this on my own cause im sure its going to cost me a fortune to fix it. want it done right the first time.

Kert was on the money with the alignment. You may want to look into the TT. It's dead easy. 20 minutes job easy. The shackles are very easy as well. All you need is a floor jack, jackstands, and a hammer.

If Westwood, NJ isn't too far away (about 40 minutes) try Timmy's Service center in Westwood, NJ. (201) 664-3161

called them and they said its not something they usually do. That SUcks
