I'm pulling a 94 explorer 4.0L w/ A4LD attached

Where are the preferred lift points on a 4.0L?

Thanks,

Harl

dude your going to pull ur engine and don't know how to jack it up?

I jack under rear dif jack stands under axles. Up front go off the frame rails. If using lift. Put the extender things on and use frame rail. Support rear axle if pulling an engine because of wait transfer.

I think you misunderstand my question. I was wondering where on the motor to attach the chain to lift the motor AND the trans out of the truck.

I figured out if I attached the chain to an accessory bolt under the alternator (passenger side) and where the braided ground wire attached to the back of the motor... (Drivers side) I was able to lift the engine/transmission without a hitch.

Motor is out and on the stand, trans is on the bench and waiting for a Transgo jr. valve body kit.
