So I have a 2002 2wheel drive ST. in about a year I will need new tires and so I wont be doing anything until then. I was looking to move up to probably 32" tires when I need them next year. I know they wont fit as the truck is stock and have thinking of doing a TT and Shackle lift. My first question is will this enable 32" to fit? Also will 2" of TT in the front make it level with the rear or would I need to go more than 2"? My final question is would the TT cause any suspension items to fail faster? In the past anything I have ever lifted had coil springs or coil overs and not Torsion bars so I'm just trying to make sure no issues. I'm wanting to go the shackle and TT route because I have a wife and 2 kids and between them and work I need to keep the lift parts fairly inexpensive and get better tires. Also would rarely be Off Road except when in south GA hunting few times a year.

TT/Shackles will let you fit up to 33x12.50s. The TT will slowly wear out parts faster but it it's that drastic based on the condition of my parts before the solid axle swap. A lot of guys run that lift without issue.

Just make sure to get an alignment after you do the torsion twist.

Ok thanks. Yea I work in the parts department for a local Toyota Dealer so the alignment would be simple and can have one or my techs do that during my work day thankfully. I did not believe that it would be an issue but wanted to confirm. The truck currently is my only transportation and don't want to take time away from my young children to spend the day lifting my truck. Also most of my driving is either back roads or highway no city driving. Will the 2" of TT in the front match the rear after doing the shackles or do you believe that I will need more than 2" of TT?

Pretty close to level.
