lift?

So I was looking at a performance parts catalog and saw an advertizment for a 2" lift. It's just little spacers that go in the coil springs. Does anybody know if this is the same kit that the guy bought from the advance auto parts, the one that has all those problems?

If they truely are the spreading blocks that go "in" the springs, between the coils, then stay away from those. You run a good chance of them popping out when the suspension is at full travel. It could easily happen in a real world situation, not just when you're wheelin. Ever hit a speed bump too fast?...even worse...one of those gigantic "speed mounds" three feet wide at about 40mph. New shocks anybody? :fire:

So I guess I should just lift it the right way. Because I always hit speed bumps too fast, and those mounds there's no slow enough way to go over them. LOL
