Liftgate Swap (locking mechanism)

Hey all! I have a questions for ya'll. One of my friends' '95 Explorer got into a little accident the other day. Now the liftgate needs to be replaced. So...he got a liftgate from a wrecked '95 from a junkyard today. I'm gonna help him this weekend to put it in. Here's my question...is it hard for the swap in general and swapping the locking mechanism. Is the lock riveted in? If so, how do you swap it?

The lock is held in by a large C clip. Do a search in the General Explorations catagory under my name...I just replied on removing the lock cylinder a few days ago
